Unlike back in the 2011-12 NBA Playoffs when Blake Griffin had his Nike Hyperdunk 2011 Elite rip from the upper, Manu Ginobili actually had his foot go straight thru the bottom of the Nike Air Max Closer V (5) separating the entire sole unit of the sneaker.

Seen in the Tweet above, George Kiel from Nice Kicks (who is on-hand for most Spurs home games) quoted Ginobili as saying he will be wearing custom Nike iD versions of the current LeBron 11 sneaker which has had its share of problems including not being worn by LeBron James or the in the times he does the shoe leaves foot-long streaks on the NBA hardwood.
The Nike Air Max Closer series has been throughout the past few season by notable NBA players such as Jermaine O’Neal and Monta Ellis. Manu Ginobili has worn different colorways of this sneaker for the past three seasons.
