Paul Pierce is a native of California, so it wasn’t a huge shocker this summer when he decided to return home for his final playing days to wear a LA Clippers jersey. If there was any surprise at all, it would have been due to how well Pierce fit in with the upstart Wizards program, and the value he added to the team in their 2014-15 postseason run that included many game winning or tying buckets in dramatic fashion.
