This is the time of year where teams allegedly not try as hard as they normally would in attempt improve their playoff situation. It’s to gain a more favorable playoff matchup.
But according to Joakim Noah, the Bulls have no intentions of doing such things. If the playoffs began today, the Bulls and Nets would square off in the first round. Actually, that probably favors the Bulls.
“We’re just trying to play good basketball,” Noah said. “There’s no way in hell we’re going to try and lose games to match up against anybody. I think whatever happens, happens, so we’re just going to keep playing our game, keep winning as much as we can, and then (we) can’t wait for the playoffs.”
