Reggie Jackson Treated for Exhaustion Following Game Tuesday Night

Reggie Jackson was not feeling well after the Pistons 100-94 loss to the Kings in Sacramento Tuesday night as the six-year guard was treated for dehydration and exhaustion by team doctors after the game.

Jackson played 30 minutes in the game, a few nights after playing 47 minutes in the Pistons instant classic with the Blazers in Portland Sunday night in which they lost 125-124 in overtime.

He has dealt with this issue before as he was briefly hospitalized after the Pistons game against the Raptors in Toronto in February of 2016.

He described dealing with this issue in the past and some of his symptoms after the situation occurred in Toronto:

“Feels like my body’s overheating and freezing at the same time, as well as queasy,” Jackson said.

He is averaging 29.2 minutes per game for the Pistons this season after missing the first 21 games of the season with chronic knee pain.

Hopefully he can change something with his diet or intake of fluids to prevent this sort of situation in the future, nobody would want to see Reggie Jackson pass out during a game or experience further damage.
