The sports world was treated to a historic night as the Chicago Cubs came back from being down 3-1 to win their first world series in 108 years. The love-able losers finally ended the longest championship drought for a professional sports franchise and reached the pinnacle of their sport.
Many of the participants in the incredible and historic NBA Finals that we just witnessed this year could relate to their eerily similar nature and feel of the two championship series. Especially considering the fact that Cleveland was a participant in both. Just like the Chicago Cubs, the Cavaliers ended their own championship drought by coming back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the juggernaut Warriors.
LeBron James had his Cavs squad were out in full force to cheer on the Indians in their pursuit of a long awaited title.
The Warriors can relate to how the Indians feel right now blowing their own lead and star forward Draymond Green and current Lakers coach and former Warriors assistant Luke Walton shared their own thoughts on the game and situation.
Here was Luke Walton’s jab at the city of Cleveland upon seeing the score of the game with the Cubs ahead late…

It’s humorous but also some sour grapes on Walton’s part.
Draymond Green summed up the feeling of blowing a 3-1 lead as someone who can relate in a short and simple tweet.
Man 3-1 sucks

I don’t know if he is saying being up 3-1 sucks or blowing a 3-1 lead in a series sucks, we will guess the later, but either way with this tweet and his comment on his desire to annihilate Cleveland it makes it pretty obvious he is still not over losing the 2016 NBA Finals as he shouldn’t be.
