FILA took to the streets of New York City and tracked down to elusive tagger CLAW Money for their latest collaboration on the classic streetball sneaker; The Cage.
The Cage gets its name from the famous basketball court on W. 4th Street in NYC of the same name. The CLAW Money x FILA The Cage collab has an all-white upper and features mesh panels on the toe, tongue, and sides with a colorful graffiti print on the memory foam that wraps the heel.
For the last few years we’ve seen translucent outsoles and speckled outsoles, but NEVER the combination of the two. Maybe it took the female perspective of Claw $ to bring this innovation to fruition. It’ll be interesting to see if this feature is replicated throughout the sportswear brand spectrum.
The CLAW Money x FILA The Cage releases today on Wednesday, July 29th for $130.
