There is no doubt in my mind that the recent surge of popularity the classic Foamposite One & Foamposite Pro has been in the last three years is the reason why Nike has decided to revive Penny Hardaway’s Air Penny line.
There have already been images of pairs inspired by Florida sports teams like the Miami Dolphins and the Orlando Magic colorway so its about time we started to see some different color blocking on for the Air Penny 5.
A wavy design similar to the grooves in the Foamposite One/Pro and Air 1/2 Cent are seen in the upper in the Hyperfuse material. The fused layer construction joins features like a translucent sole, and exposed carbon fiber shank.
Look for these three pairs to drop in the Spring of 2013.
