Over the past few years, the “Darling of the NBA” label that Kevin Durant proudly wore has taken somewhat of a hit. He has been very vocal about his displeasure with the media the power they have. His griping was probably the main reason why the NBA implemented their very own awards, voted by players, last season for the first time.
But Kevin Durant would like to set the record straight. He doesn’t hate the media. In fact, he “loves” it. There’s some evidence to the contrary, but at least he’s aware of his image.
