Roughly 80 NBA Scouts to Watch Wiggins, Parker and Randle at Champions Classic

The college basketball season is officially underway, so let the salavating over this young crop of freshmen begin. Next year’s draft class is already being touted as one of the best in the last few decades, as freshmen Andrew Wiggins (Kansas), Jabari Parker (Duke) and Julius Randle (Kentucky) should all be millionaires a year from now.

Speaking of which, those three will ironically be on display Tuesday at the Champions Classic in Chicago. According to SNY’s Zagsblog, nearly 80 NBA scouts/player personnel officials will be on display to check out these guys. Eighty! There’s only 30 teams in the league.

Nearly 80 NBA personnel are expected to watch diaper dandies Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle and Jabari Parker in the Champions Classic on Tuesday night in Chicago.

Media coordinator Charley Green told SNY.tv that 73 NBA credentials have been issued, and that doesn’t include the Chicago Bulls who don’t have to go through Green because the United Center is their home arena.

“Probably around 80 scouts in total. This thing blew up after Wiggins committed,” Green told SNY.tv.
