Ron Artest Goes All ‘Dennis Rodman’ With New Hairstyle

Well it seems that losing weight in an effort to improve his defensive slippage this season wasn’t good enough for Ron Artest. He needed a bit of extra motivation. So Ron being Ron, he figured ‘hey, why not dye my hair blonde and shave/color in the word ‘defense’ into my scalp in Japanese, Hebrew, and Hindi?’. That’s gotta help his defense right?

Up until this point it seemed like Ron Artest had kept the crazy train from stopping in Los Angeles. Well after seeing these photos i’d say he’s back to his old self, wouldn’t you?. Even Dennis Rodman would be proud:

    Pretty sure that doesn’t mean defense in Hindi, either. In fact, if I’m reading it right, it means “I stopped” in the sense of driving a car or something. Of course, it’s impossible to really read it, because whoever shaved it into his head clearly has no idea how to write Hindi.

    Not a story at all. As long as Ronny can defend Carmelo Anthony, Danny Granger, etc, etc the way he has been, then he can cut any language he wants in his head.

    @Tommy – did you just list ‘Melo? Umm, I take it you didn’t watch the first two Denver-LA games this year. Melo made Artest look like the worst defender in the league. Their last match it was more Melo having an off shooting night than anything Artest did.

    Artest is an overrated defender. Give me Rodman any day of the week. That guy could rebound and defend, 100 times better than Artest.
