Marcus Morris has had a hard time being on the floor for the Boston Celtics this season.
After serving a suspension to start the year and recovering from a knee injury Morris has appeared in 16 games, nine of which as a starter for the Celtics, Morris is back on the shelf.
Sources: Boston forward Marcus Morris is expected to miss extended time as he and the team work on solution for nagging left knee.

That leaves his timetable for a return pretty wide open. Are we talking a week or a few months? Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald tries to clear it up:
Marcus Morris told me he could miss a couple of weeks as he tries to get his left knee healthy. Waiting to speak with Stevens for further word. Guessing a plan won't be in place until he returns to Boston and is examined further Tuesday.

Morris actually fills a pretty big role for the Celtics, especially with Gordon Hayward out. He is the only veteran forward they really possess at this point as Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Semi Ojeleye and Daniel Theis will fill in for his 24 minutes.
As long as they have Kyrie Irving and Al Horford on the court and Brad Stevens on the sideline, I am pretty sure the Celtics will be just fine though.
