DeMarcus Cousins is a 26-year-old male that wasn’t born until the 1990s. Many people that age or younger don’t have a large breadth of knowledge about things that existed before their time whether it be pop culture or history, but one would think that 95 percent of the people on planet earth have had heard of Paul McCartney. DeMarcus Cousins apparently has not.
Cousins was asked by reporters if he went to the Paul McCartney concert that opened up the new Golden One Center the Kings will call home this season. Incredibly not only did Cousins not attend the concert nor was aware it had occurred (not surprising), he took it a step further by saying he basically had no idea who Paul McCartney was.

Cousins is obviously not the biggest historical music buff, but even for someone who was born about 20 years after the Beatles broke up, being completely oblivious to the existence of Paul McCartney is amazing.
Cousins is too busy filling stat sheets and arguing with coaches, players and referees to sit back and listen to come classical music apparently.
