The Warriors kept on Warrior-ing in the Oracle Arena last night, securing yet another easy victory by beating the Dallas Mavericks 127-107.
The win had a number of historical implications for Steph Curry and team. It elevated them to 42-4 this season, tied for the best start through 46 games in NBA history with the Wilt Chamberlain-led 1966-67 Philadelphia 76ers. It put them a game ahead of the Bulls pace for the best record in NBA history as the 1995-96 Bulls were 41-5 through 46 games.

It was also the Warriors 40th straight home victory, dating back to their 113-11 home loss to the Chicago Bulls in overtime exactly one year before.
The Warriors are now tied with the Shaq and Penny led Orlando Magic of the mid-90s for the second longest home winning streak in NBA history and are only four games behind the same Chicago Bulls team for the longest home winning streak in NBA history.
The Warriors could have a chance to set a new record for the longest home winning streak with a win over the Magic on March 7, but they will have to win their next four home games, which includes the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This Warriors team is like nothing we have ever seen and will continue to topple and steamroll records of excellence in their wake as they attempt to win back-to-back NBA titles.
