After taking a break from their “.5” performance sneaker upgrade series, adidas returns to form with the unveiling of the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 basketball sneaker.
The first adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 colorway coming out is the ‘Aurora Borealis’ edition. The official name for the 2016 NBA All-Star collection by adidas, the is aptly named after the actual Northern Lights seen in the Canadian skyline at times, the adidas Aurora Berealis collection will feature sneaker silhouettes from both the Orignals and adidas Basketball division all with vibrant designs.
Never having held the current CrazyLight Boost, I can say just off of pictures that this new .5 version looks to differ from the first mostly by adding a synthetic, asymmetrical collar to the sewn Primeknit upper.
While no exact release date was provided, look for the entire adidas Aurora Borealis collection to release early 2016 in time for the NBA All-Star Weekend.
