At the start of Kevin Durant’s 2013 basketball tour of Shanghai, Nike unveils the ‘Bamboo’ KD VI.
Inspired by the plant native to China, the Nike KD VI ‘Bamboo’ has a green upper with bronze on the tongue, medial side, and outsole panel. The character in Chinese for bamboo has been revamped to spell out Kevin Durant’s initials and can be seen on the outsole.
Just as bamboo goes thru a transformation in its fifth year, the ‘Bamboo’ KD VI is suppose to go thru Durant’s transformation as he enters his sixth season.
The ‘Bamboo’ Nike KD VI came out earlier this month in China already with the US release date scheduled for September 14th.
