Last night’s game of between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Denver Nuggets saw the end of the Clippers NBA-high win streak of 17 games. Chris Paul put up 10 points, 6 assists, with four boards that night and laced up a very special Player Exclusive of his Jordan CP3.VI signature sneaker.
A mostly red pair of the CP3.VI features the date 8/16/12 on the tongue in white, which is significant to Paul as that is the day his second child, Camryn Paul was born. CP3 couldn’t be there with his wife for his daughters delivery due to being in London with the rest of Team USA for the Olympic Games. The game against Argentina that same night was won with a decisive 127-97 victory for Team USA.
This isn’t the first pair of sneakers that Chris Paul has celebrating the life of his kids. Earlier in December when the Clippers took on the Suns, he wore a pair with his other child, Chris Paul Jr’s birth date stitched on the tongue just like the pair seen above made for his daughter.
