A few weeks ago, when prized high school prospect Andrew Wiggins reclassified to the 2013 recruiting class, basketball fans across the nation rejoiced as we now all will get to see the unanimous top rated prospect one year earlier in college.
Whether he ultimately chooses Kentucky, Florida State, Florida, Ohio State, or any of the other high major programs on his list, one thing’s for sure is that some school will be getting a player that most GM’s agree could suit up on an NBA roster today and succeed.
Wiggins is so special that he even brought Lebron, Kevin Durant, and Team USA out of their seats during the Lebron James Skills Academy game this Summer, as even NBA superstars marvel at the player known as “Air Canada.”
Considering the fact that Wiggins stars alongside several other future Division I talents like elite level SG Xavier Rathan-Mayes and recent Baylor commit Dominic Woodson, it comes as no surprise that Wiggins’ high school Huntington Prep in West Virginia begins the season ranked as the top prep school in the nation.
As evidence of this video below, the legend of “Air Canada” continues to grow as Andrew does something that most of us have never seen before. Wiggins somehow misses a dunk but amazingly uses his supreme athleticism to out jump the nearby defender to essentially re-dunk his own missed dunk….
