Hedo Turkoglu has quietly been available for teams to snatch up since he was release by Orlando recently, and it looks like he now has an employer. The Clippers are reportedly on the verge of signing Turkoglu for the remainder of the season.
The Clippers seem to be trying their hand with again veterans of late, as they signed Stephen Jackson several weeks ago, only to cut him shortly after. We’ll have to wait and see what type of impact Hedo will bring to the squad.
Free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu is reportedly poised to sign with the Clippers less than two weeks after he was released by the Magic.
Earlier Tuesday, Clippers coach Doc Rivers told the Los Angeles Times that his team was indeed considering Turkoglu.
“We’re looking at him strong, I can say that much,” Rivers stated, adding that Turkoglu “made shots from everywhere” during a recent workout for the team.
