Jordan Super.Fly – ‘Georgetown’ and ‘Marquette’ PE

With college and professional basketball underway, there is no better time for Player Exclusive basketball sneakers right now.  Going on that notion is Jordan Brand who made a special pair of the Jordan Super.Fly for Georgetown University and Marquette University.

The entire amenity package seen on other pairs of the Jordan Super.Fly like both Lunarlon & Zoom Air cushioning systems and next-gen Hyperfuse upper remain on this Player Exclusive set.

For Marquette, a monochromatic camouflage print is used on the upper while the Georgetown edition digicamo print is way more noticeable.  Both pairs feature their respective school’s logo on the bottom of the sneaker and can be seen through the translucent outsole.

Georgetown is scheduled to lace up their camo Super.Fly PE against the University of Florida when the two teams play aboard the U.S.S. Bataan during the Navy/Marine Corps Classic held in Jacksonville, Florida.

The more subtle blue-and-yellow camo Jordan Super.Fly PE made for Marquette will make their debut against the Ohio State Buckeyes during the Carrier Classic, hosted in Charleston, South Carolina on the U.S.S. Yorktown.

We were also told to look out for more Jordan PE sneakers for affiliated schools like Marquette & Georgetown, as well as California and University of North Carolina.  Just goes to show that during in the summer, we were on the right track calling the early Jordan Super.Fly sample we got our hands before the release a University of North Carolina PE.

In this digital age, the amount of Player Exclusives sneakers seen on the internet before the actual games they are made for has multiplied, adding a new dimension to the buzz leading up to a big game on both the NCAA and NBA level.
