The new NBA season is fast approaching. You know what that means, time to draft your fantasy team for the 2009-10 season! Check out my list of the Top 75 Fantasy NBA Players (5×5, H2H) for the 2009-10 season.
1. Chris Paul – Points, Assists, Steals combination puts him a top.
2. LeBron James – Does it all, but Paul does the rare categories.
3. Dwyane Wade – Great year last season and should do it again this season.
4. Dwight Howard – Huge rpg and bpg.
5. Danny Granger – Should improve all across the board.
6. Kobe Bryant – Numbers should decline across the board.
7. Amar’e Stoudemire – Wants out of PHX and might put up 25 and 10.
8. Dirk Nowitzki – Huge ppg and good rpg.
9. Kevin Durant – Numbers will go up across the board and might hit 30 ppg.
10. Al Jefferson – 20 and 10 book it.
11. Chris Bosh – See Al Jefferson.
12. Brandon Roy – Numbers should increase across the board.
13. Deron Williams – Returns completely healthy and like Paul, ppg and apg combo is awesome.
14. Devin Harris – Great scoring and apg numbers.
15. Gil Arenas – 23 ppg, 5 apg, 5 rpg. Not bad at all but those are only predictions.
16. Joe Johnson – High scoring, apg and good rpg.
17. Caron Butler – Does it all and although Agent Zero is returning everything but ppg should be the same.
18. Tim Duncan – Numbers should remain the same.
19. Andre Iguodala – Slightly down last season but numbers should increase.
20. Pau Gasol – Hig h apg for Center.
21. Antawn Jamison – Should still have high scoring and rpg.
22. David West – Consecutive All Star appearances and should make it again.
23. Paul Pierce – Aging star can still do it all.
24. LaMarcus Aldridge – Might hit 20 and 10. Might.
25. Zach Randolph – It hurts me to put this bonehead this high. 20 and 10, good apg and spg.
26. Stephen Jackson – Does it all.
27. Josh Smith – Bad year last season but numbers should improve across the board.
28. Gerald Wallace – Good bpg, high spg, scores, and rebounds but can’t stay healthy.
29. Shawn Marion – Should see numbers increase in DAL.
30. Carmelo Anthony – Mini Dirk but too many TOs. His numbers should increase.
31. Steve Nash – Numbers should increase without Shaq.
32. Tony Parker – Great scoring PG, good apg and rpg.
33. Derrick Rose – 20 ppg, 10 apg, 4 rpg? If not this year, next.
34. David Lee – Double double machine.
35. Carlos Boozer – Should return to his double double days and get traded.
36. Elton Brand – Former top 20 player should average 18 and 10 and over a bpg.
37. Brook Lopez – Double double and blocks machine.
38. Kevin Martin – 25 ppg and decent apg/spg.
39. Monta Ellis – 20 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg.
40. Troy Murphy – High rpg, good apg and ppg.
41. Andris Biedrins – Double double with good bpg and apg.
42. Andrew Bynum – All stats will improve.
43. Baron Davis – 18 ppg, 8 apg, 4 rpg, 1 spg, 3 TOs.
44. Vince Carter – Hedo an Vince trade places and put up nearly identical numbers.
45. Hedo Turkoglu – 18 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg.
46. Rudy Gay – 20 ppg, 5 rpg, 1 spg, 1 bpg.
47. Kevin Garnett – Aging superstar with pedestrian numbers. 15 ppg, 8 rpg, 2 apg, 1bpg, 1 spg.
48. Emeka Okafor – Numbers should increase with CP3.
49. Nene – Not the ATL Housewife and will have similar numbers as last.
50. Josh Howard – Good ppg and rpg combo and former All Star.
51. Rajon Rondo – Awesome spg, apg, rpg for PG.
52. Russell Westbrook – Averaged 15 ppg, 5 rpg and 5 apg and all should improve.
53. Jose Calderon – High apg is hard to find.
54. Jameer Nelson – All Star PG. Good ppg, rpg, apg.
55. Mo Williams – Good scoring PG with average apg and rpg.
56. Al Horford – Should turn into a double double machine. Decent bpg and apg.
57. Jason Kidd – His assists should increase but rpg and ppg should decrease.
58. Marcus Camby – Huge bpg and rpg. Can The Camby Man stay healthy?
59. O.J. Mayo – Good all around game that will improve every season.
60. Chauncey Billups – Numbers should dip but high apg and good ppg.
61. Manu Ginobili – He is the Man(u), but can’t stay healthy.
62. John Salmons – Good ppg, rpg, spg, and apg.
63. Andre Miller – PPG will dip but apg may increase.
64. Rashard Lewis – Good ppg, rpg, apg combo. Suspended early.
65. Al Harrington – Big year last season (20 and 6) and will put up similar numbers.
66. Mehmet Okur – Good year last season (17 ppg and 7 rpg). Will probably put up identical numbers.
67. Paul Milsap – Number will vastly improve after inevitable Boozer trade.
68. Jeff Green – Look for similar numbers to Al Harrington.
69. Charlie Villanueva – Should see an increase in ppg and apg.
70. Lamar Odom – 2010 might be his last good fantasy season.
71. Andrew Bogut – Health concerns keep him low. When healthy, a double double machine.
72. Kevin Love – Rookie season will be only season he does not average a double double.
73. Marvin Williams – Should break out next season. Health remains a concern.
74. Trevor Ariza – Everyone’s favorite role player takes on a harder role and that is as a scorer.
75. Chris Kaman – 15 ppg, 12 rpg, and 3 bpg two years ago. Health is always a concern.
