Video of the Day: Lebron James Half-court Buzzer Beater in Game 1
Lebron James is surely going to receive the NBA MVP award this year. I haven’t seen such a clear cut winner of the MVP award in years. It’s not even close. So today all eyes were on Lebron James in the Cleveland Cavaliers 1st game against the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. He didn’t disappoint.
James has a number of full-court and half-court shot video’s that have gone viral on the internet in the last couple of months. Remember the half-court shot he pulled off during the 60 minutes interview? What about the underhanded shots from half in warm-ups? Well the shot he pulled off today was quite different in that it actually happened ‘during’ the game and it counted for 3 very real points, as such a miraculous shot should.

LeBron’s an excellent player, probably better than Kobe Bryant, but I think the Lakers are better with superior team dynamics and will beat them if they meet up in the finals. Mr. James carries the Cavs, and its quite a shame, because he could be doing so much better with another team. Ben Wallace has nothing on Pau Gasol, and Williams will be out-shot by both Odom and Bynum. I have serious doubts about Cleveland’s ability to win the championship this year, regardless of their record.
That was about 15 feet from half court. Maybe change the headline to at least, “LeBron makes a long ass 3 pointer”

Not a half court shot. I think Lebron would be a lot easier to cheer for if, every time he did a nice move, he didn’t stare at the crowd and puff his chest out like, “I am the King!”. Take a hint from Derrick Rose. Just play the game and be humble. It’s a lot easier to cheer for a guy like that. In other news…I hate Lebron James and think he’s immature.
