Russell Westbrook Monster Dunk on Mario Chalmers!

Russell Westbrook of the OKC Thunder was vying to be the 4th man selected by NBA fans to participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest at All-star Weekend. Well the voting is now over and word has it that Rudy Fernandez has been announced as the winner. I don’t mean any disrespect to Rudy as he’s a great dunker as well, but my vote went to Russell.

For those of you that missed the Miami Heat @ OKC Thunder game yesterday it was a great battle of two young teams filled with star talent. Durant and Wade stole the show, but the ‘Dunk of the Game’ went to the rookie Russell Westbrook. He flew out on the break, rose up, and gave Mario Chalmers the statue of liberty pose as he posterized him.

So for those of you who didn’t vote on the 4th dunker to participate in the Slam Dunk Contest, shame on you, and here is a little taste of what you’ll be missing:
