The Golden State Warriors finally fell back down to earth on Tuesday night, as the Chicago Bulls ended their 19-game home winning streak and handed them just their seventh loss of the season in a 113-11 overtime victory.
Throughout the game both teams were neck and neck and clearly neither of them was letting this one go without a fight. This game was so tight it was only fitting that it needed an extra five minutes to finally be settled. And in the overtime period, Bulls point guard Derrick Rose came out on top by hitting the game-winning step-back jumper with exactly 7 seconds remaining.
Despite his 11 turnovers, Rose was able to redeem himself by delivering when it mattered most and eventually finished the game with a team-high of 30 points.
It seems like the old Derrick Rose is back, which is definitely good news for the Bulls and the opposite for all the other teams in the league. Look out East, here come the Bulls.
