The Utah Jazz are playing the best basketball of anyone in the NBA right now.
After coming back from a 13 point deficit, they were able to take down the San Antonio Spurs at home without Ricky Rubio.
A Donovan Mitchell jumper with 32 seconds left would end up sealing the deal…
The Jazz are now back over .500 for the first time since December 7 when they lost to the Houston Rockets.
At 29-28, the Jazz are only 1.5 games out of the No. 8 spot in the western conference, which is currently held by the New Orleans Pelicans at 30-26.
Utah has beaten six teams with winning records over their 10 game winning streak and has one more game at home against the lowly Phoenix Suns before the All-Star break.
The emergence of Royce O’Neal made Rodney Hood expendable and the Jazz figure to have plenty of money to try and add to their roster this summer, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell are already one of the better 1-2 duos and inside-out combos in the NBA.
It will interesting to see if they steal a playoff spot from a team who seems to desperately want to make it like Denver, New Orleans or the Clippers.
