Of all of the jersey reveals this summer, as the NBA transitions to Nike as their apparel sponsor and all 30 teams release their four uniforms for the 2017-18 season, there may be none more exciting than the Hornets reveal on Wednesday.
The Hornets official Twitter account announced that they will be bringing back the cult classic 90s turquoise jersey style (with less pinstripes) a few times this season.

This classic jersey will be available for purchase in November as well. This is a fantastic move for the Hornets and exactly what they need to do to maximize the new jersey reveal. We are already 20 years removed from the 90s era and the nostalgia is high for all of the cartoonish logos and pinstripes uniforms that defined NBA style in the 1990s and few logos or team gear was as popular as the original hornets turquoise and purple which fit the colorful vibe of the 90s perfectly.
Now if we can bring back these purple alternates as well, the Hornets might leap to No. 1 in the jersey rankings for 2017-18…

Also I am an advocate of the ridiculous hornets nest court from the 90s and early 2000s as well.
