Kevin Love’s need for knee surgery is as surprising as it is disappointing for Cavs fans. The team recently had to sit through LeBron’s public plea for better players during a recent skid, and now they’ll be without Love for six weeks or so. Luckily, he’ll return in time for the playoffs.
For the first time since joining the Cavs, Love was voted an all-star this year. But this injury will force him to skip the game in New Orleans this weekend. The league has chosen Carmelo Anthony (who is typically a starter) to replace Love. Many thought Bradley Beal would’ve been Love’s replacement.
