You get the sense that, at most, Kevin Love has one game remaining in a Cavs uniform. Win or lose. They are able to play well in spite of him, and LeBron doesn’t seem to particularly care for him too much. And yes, that matters.
While LeBron dropped 41 points and Kyrie 23 in game 6, Love logged only 12 minutes because of foul trouble and scored 7 points. If Cleveland is going to win the title, they’ll need Love to show a pulse in game 7. Right, LeBron?
“We definitely need Kev to play better. We want him to play better,” Cavs star LeBron James said. “But we don’t want to add more stress on him or added pressure. We just want him to go out and play. Just let it hang out.”
