We now live in a world where organizations have their own, highly active and interactive twitter pages that often resemble those of a fan or an individual as opposed to a more buttoned up business.
That makes for some humorous situations, like when a team is getting absolutely destroyed in a playoff game. There are three methods to handle this as an official team twitter account: just post score updates and the few highlights available of your team which is a bit tone deaf, acknowledge the whooping while staying positive, or just plain making fun of yourselves and the current situation.
