As I watched the Cavaliers completely obliterate and embarrass the ever confusing and bi-polar Toronto Raptors in Cleveland in Game 5, it became pretty clear to me that this has potentially been the most lopsided postseason in NBA history.
There have been eight games decided by 30 or more points in the 2016 NBA Playoffs which is the most in NBA history.
Cavs-Raptors was the 8th playoff game decided by 30 points or more this postseason, the most in a single postseason in NBA history

The average margin of victory for the 2016 conference finals series is 21.5 points per game which is absolutely insane when you are dealing with the top four to eight teams in the NBA squaring off with one another for the chance to play in the NBA Finals.
This is the one stat that proves without a shadow of a doubt that the 2016 postseason has been the most lopsided in NBA history:
Highest Average Margin of Victory Single Postseason in NBA History
PPG Diff
2016 +14.3
1959 +13.1
1964 +12.9— BucciOT.Com (@Buccigross) May 26, 2016
The 2016 NBA postseason is a unique one as it has been light on close games and last second finishes but heavy on intrigue and surprise as two of the better teams in NBA history throughout the regular season may not even make the NBA Finals.
Here’s to hoping we get a classic NBA Finals to make up for all of this domination.
