Inspired by a former car of Kevin Durant is this upcoming colorway of the recently-released KD8.
For the ‘V-8’ Nike KD8, the colorway comes from the all-red Camaro than Durant picked up after going as the 1st overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. The actual “v-8” name is pulled directly from the engine type.
Featuring a Flyweave (textile) upper and articulated full-length Zoom Air cushioning, the Dynamic Flywire cables that dramatically alleviates stress by not pulling on the upper. Fun fact: the shape of the KD8 silhouette is heavily inspired by a sabertooth tiger.
