The Bulls haven’t been playing to their full potential without their former league MVP—Derrick Rose, who’s missed the team’s last 20 games after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
But on the Bulls’ road game on Wednesday against the Magic, the wait is over as their star point guard is set to return, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago:
Thibs expects Derrick Rose to play tonight if he makes it through shootaround without any problems.

Thibs expects him to play about 20 minutes. Says he's open to him playing in Miami too.

Thibs very happy. So are the players. Big sense of excitement for team to have Rose back.

Rose’s return is definitely a big boost for the Bulls as they continue to prepare themselves for the playoffs with only five games remaining. Surely, these games will allow Rose to shake off the rust and hopefully build a stronger chemistry with the team come playoff time.
Could having a complete and healthy Chicago team may prove to be enough to beat the Hawks and Cavaliers in grabbing the Eastern Conference title this season?
