For a large chunk of the 1990s, Reebok was on top of the basketball sneaker division. Whether on the heardwood or asphalt, you couldn’t help but see that Vector logo everywhere. For the last few years, Reebok has brought back some of their most popular silhouettes from that time, and The Shroud is the latest.
As worn by Shawn Kemp and other Reebok players after the original release in 1998, The Shroud could be put in the ‘iconic’ categories thanks largely to the unique ads that ran by then. Made to be worn zipped up, since it is more likely that these will be worn while crossing the street instead of crossing someone over, feel free to rock zipped down.
As the first Reebok Classics basketball retro of 2015, it is good to see The Shroud return in this original colorway first before brand new pairs with different inspirations release.
The Shroud by Reebok is available now for $140 on the Reebok webstore.
