It was a thrilling Monday night in Staples Center as the Los Angeles Clippers came out victorious in overtime against the visiting Phoenix Suns with a score of 121-120.
Blake Griffin led the way for the Clippers and had a game-high of 45 points, while for the Suns it was Eric Bledsoe with an epic performance of his own with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 16 assists. Both players were beast-ing, clearly.
However, with exactly 2.6 seconds remaining in the overtime period—Griffin got the upper hand on Bledsoe by nailing a ‘not so pretty’ step-back three-pointer at the buzzer, which sent the Suns home packing with another loss added to their season. The crowd went insane!
That shot didn’t look pretty at all, but luckily the bounce went the Clippers’ way.
