With the NBA Playoffs around the corner, Jordan Brand is ready to lace their flagship players with new sneakers. Via a press release posted on the Nike,Inc news site, we get the best look at the 2014 set of Jordans for the post season.
The Los Angeles Clippers will be looking extra spiffy in the post season with both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin getting updated versions of their sneakers from this season in the Jordan CP3.VII AE and Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO respectively.
Also seen here is the current flagship Jordan sneaker, the Air Jordan XX8 SE, in a new colorway specifically designed for the NBA Playoffs and likely to be on the feet of many of the Jordan Brand players in the post season that don’t have their own shoe.
Hopefully the New York Knicks can hold onto their 8th seed in the Eastern Conference so Carmelo Anthony’s current signature sneaker, the Jordan Melo 10, can be seen on his feet in the playoffs.
Following the trend that Michael Jordan started in the 90s with his Air Jordan line, all four pairs seen here feature a mostly black upper to be worn during the NBA Playoffs. All four pairs also feature reflective material on the tongue.
