Andrew Wiggins hasn’t even played a college basketball game yet, but the hype surrounding him is off the charts. In fact, we haven’t seen this much hype from someone who is not even in the NBA yet since…LeBron James.
And that’s where Wiggins has had enough apparently. Because of their freakish athleticism at such a young age, Wiggins as been compared to LeBron and even Kevin Durant. According to Wiggins, that isn’t fair.
I’ve got a long way to go before I can be compared to LeBron and Durant,” Wiggins said. “Those are the best players in the world right now and I’m still in college. So I think it’s really unfair to compare me to someone of that caliber. Hopefully one day I can be compared to them, but I think I still have a long way to go before I can be.”
