Just when it seemed many sneakerheads were ready to write off the Air Jordan I completely because of the dozens of colorways that have dropped annually for the last few years, Jordan Brand not only revives classic pairs from 1985 but also the NIKE AIR tag seen on the tongue.
Classic Air Jordan I colorblocking was called upon for this sneaker, sporting a mostly white upper with one color serving as the main color and one as the accent. The ‘Clover’ Jordan I in the form of green as the main color and gold to accent. This pair pays tribute to the old Boston Garden thru the parquet-like hardwood pattern embossed in glue all over this sneaker.
This Air Jordan 1 follows the pattern of other new Jordan I colorways like the ‘Knicks’ and recently re-released ones like the ‘Bred’ or Black/Blue pair that give a nod to the original pairs with NIKE AIR branding on the tongue tag.
On April 6th, the Air Jordan I ‘Clover’ releases for $140 online at the Foot Locker webstore and select House of Hoops locations. Check exactly which stores thru the Foot Locker Launch Locator.
