The tilt last night between the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets was by far the game of the season. Both teams came into the contest riding big winnings streaks. The Nuggets 9 games, to the Celtics 6 games. Although they are both in very different positions in their respective conferences. The Nuggets are sitting as one of the top teams in the West, whereas the Celtics are struggling to hold on to a playoff spot in the East.
I hate to say it, but the Celtics seem a whole lot better without Rondo so far. I’m not one to believe they are actually a better team without their star player, but they have enough proud veterans and talented players that its not far fetched to believe Rondo going down for the season gave them extra motivation.
