Last night’s Lakers loss in preseason to the Golden State Warriors didn’t really mean much, given early preseason games the starters barely play at all. PG Steve Nash included, as he only logged 14 minutes total in the loss. But when he was on the floor it was enough to give Lakers fans a rush of adrenaline. No knock to D-Fish, but the Lakers biggest weakness over the past decade has been their floor general spot.
Nash had a couple highlight reel plays in his limited minutes, including a sweet pass between the legs of his defender, streetball style, for a slashing score. But this ankle breaking crossover and step-back three was not only the first major highlight for Nash in a Lakers jersey, but certainly was the play of the night…
