When the adidas Rose 3 dropped last week, it was only a matter of time before the limited colorways began to come out. Here at The Hoop Doctors we got our hands on the official pictures of the first limited release of Derrick Rose’s newest signature sneaker.
Dubbed the ‘Chicago Fire’ Rose 3, this sneaker draws its inspiration from the Chicago Fire Department, this pair from adidas uses the crazy Electricity colorway that was most famously on the Crazy Light 2 worn by Baylor and in everyone who played in the McDonalds All-American Game earlier in the year.
This adidas Rose 3 differs from the first two pairs released with by featuring a stronger upper due to the heavy synthetic materials used which represents a firefighter’s coat. Just as their turnout gear has reflective materials on them so they could be spotted easier, the heel Stripes branding and D Rose tongue logo has the 3M material to help illuminate your game. The universal fire fighter cross symbol is on the inside of the left shoe with the new D Rose symbol and his signature is lasered on the the inside of the right tongue.
The adidas Rose 3 – ‘Chicago Fire’ releases on October 10th in limited quantities for $180.
