While Derrick Rose made it clear in a recent video that he’s on the fast track to return to the NBA, adidas shows off exactly how ready they are with the release of the Rose 773.
The recently released adidas Rose 773 takes the numbers from the Englewood neighborhood in Chicago where Derrick grew up. Fans of the adiZero Rose 2.5 will happily notice that this new sneaker shares the same Sprintframe outsole. The shapes stitched on the upper are actually a pretty accurate satellite view of Englewood which makes for a crazy, inspired detail.
Currently available colorways include the Sky Blue pair seen in the Return of D Rose video giving a nod to his Memphis days as well as a Chicago Bulls ‘Bred’ pair. Off the strength of a healthy Derrick Rose being a lock for a spot in London, Olympic colorways of the Rose 773 were made including the home ‘USA’ pair we showed you back in June. 7 colorways of the adidas Rose 773 are in retail stores right now as well as on the adidas Webstore for $110.
