In case you thought the slew of All-Star sneaker releases has was going to slow down since All-Star Weekend played out in Orlando nearly two weeks ago, Reebok is here to prove you wrong.
A colorway simply inspired by the team who played host to all the 2012 All-Star Weekend events was used on this Reebok Zig Encore. Graphics of stars and John Wall’s number are seen on the back paneling further hammering the sneaker’s inspiration home. A multi-colored speckled Zig midsole sits atop a translucent blue sole.
The Zig Encore is John Wall’s second signature with Reebok picking up where the Zig Slash of last year left off but with vast more improvements. On close inspection of the Zig Encore you would be able to see the differences between Wall’s sneaker and the Zig Pro Future that fellow Reebok player Jason Terry wears.
That behind the back dunk Wall had on the fast break during the game will be something mentioned when speaking about the Rising Stars Challenge for years to come.
