We are not ones to knock anyone’s patriotic attempts to show support for their national forces. This is a great tribute to their soldiers overseas. But with that said, couldn’t they have just worn a patch or flag sewn into their jersey’s instead? Take a look below at the Toronto Raptors ‘Camo’ jersey’s they unveiled this week. They are planning to wear the jersey’s in actual game action on March 21st, making them the first NBA team in history to wear a camouflage edition of their jersey. Teams in other professional leagues such as the MLB, and NHL have worn camo, but this is definitely an NBA first.
I’m sure there is a joke in here somewhere about the Raps trying to avoid getting shot. Or maybe something about them rarely making a shot. But we can leave that to you for the comments section below.
