Late night talk show host/comedian Jimmy Kimmel has long been a fan of the National Basketball Association. He regularly has current and past NBA superstars on his show as guests like Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and Magic Johnson.
His now legendary interviews with the former Ron Artest, Shaquille O’Neal, and “Pop-a-shot” contests with Lebron James are flat out hilarious.
Recently, Jimmy got the wild idea to help out the NBA TV Network by helping the Association come up with some original programming during the Lockout. I mean, honestly, how many times can someone watch the origins of Magic and Bird: A Courtship of Rivals ?
Kimmel and his staff came up with some oddly entertaining shows like NBA Craft Corner, NBA Ref Comedy Jam, and 25 NBA superstars vying for the affections of Kim Kardashian in the “Kardashelorette.” Funny stuff.
