The owners and players met multiple times last week in New York and plan on meeting again this week in a larger group. Although they’re understandably mum on any potential developments, I’m confident that progress has been made. How much progress remains to be seen but it appears as if one or both sides has finally blinked. When the season starts is still up in the air, but basketball video games will still be released.
NBA 2K12 has gotten alot of talk this summer, primarily because of the cover of the game which will feature Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. I’m not necessarily a gamer, but apparently there are a bunch of enhancements to this year’s game that have die-hards ready to camp out. 2K Sports recently released an ad for the game, featuring Jordan, where he discusses the greatest team ever.
