All players are susceptible to injury, but when they hamper a great player from reaching achievable heights, it’s truly sad. That’s the story and the case with the great Penny Hardaway.
Nowadays, young NBA fans only know the name because he arguably has the second best catalog of signature sneakers, aside from Michael Jordan. But what they don’t know is that MJ himself used to regard Penny as one of the best players in the league.
Hardaway spent six wonderful seasons in Orlando, and the Magic have rewarded him by inducting him into the team’s Hall of Fame. Something they recently did for Penny’s former teammate, Shaquille O’Neal.
