If you’ve only watched James Harden play from a distance, everything seems normal. Skilled offensively, a first team all NBAer. But if you watch the defensive side of the ball, what has gained steam over the past year is that he’s an awful defender. One of the worst.
At least he is aware of this. That’s a start, I guess. But typically, if you’re as bad as he is at this stage of a career, making a significant improvement isn’t likely.
