A speed painting artist named David Garibaldi last week was hired to be the half-time show at Madison Square Garden during a Knicks game. What better way to entertain the crowd than to use the injured guard Jeremy Lin as his subject. The performance was a big hit. Here is a quote from David on his website and a video a fan took of the event:
We had an exciting weekend in New York city where I performed for the Knicks halftime, center court at Madison Square Garden. I created a portrait of Jeremy Lin to commemorate his break out year in the NBA. The finished painting will be auctioned to benefit The Garden of Dreams Foundation and the Jeremy Lin Foundation.
