Top 10 Amateur Dunks From The Sprite Slam Dunk Showdowns

A couple weeks ago we showed you highlights of Guy Dupuy winning the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown in San Francisco. He was pretty sick right? Personally I think that assisted alley-oop behind his back, while jumping over a couple of people was the craziest dunk i’ve ever seen. Then I saw the video compilation below put together by NBA.com and Sprite showcasing the Top 10 dunks of the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdowns to date. (This only includes the contests run in Atlanta, LA, San Francisco, and Portland. Don’t fret there are still more cities to come, specifically New York, Washington, and Dallas.)

All I can say is, ‘good lord’. After watching this video I’m convinced, i’d rather watch an amateur slam dunk contest over of an NBA professionals dunk contest any time. If I had the choice, give me some ‘Hollywood’, ‘K.D.’, and ‘Guy’ puttin’ on a show over Nate Rob, Dwight Howard, and J.R. Smith any day of the damn week. Enjoy the clips:
