Anderson Varejao Imitates Lebron’s Chalk Toss

I’ve got to apologize on behalf of The Hoop Doctors for missing the boat on this one by a few days. I just came across this video today and figured you guys would get a laugh out of it.
On the last regular season game of the season for the Cavaliers in Cleveland, they had already locked up the leagues best record so they chose to rest their superstar Lebron James for the playoffs. Lebron hasn’t missed many games in his career to this point, and it has become a tradition in Cleveland for him at the start of every game to put chalk on his hands at the scorers table, then toss it in the air, arms spread wide.
Cavaliers forward Anderson Varejao is either very superstitious or he’s a true comedian, because at the start of the Cavaliers last regular season game at home this past week, he wanted to make sure the crowd got their chalk toss. He voluntarily took over Lebron’s chalk toss tradition to the delight of the crowd, and to many laughs from his Cavaliers teammates, including Lebron. Here’s the replay:
