Video: Kobe throws crafty pass off the backboard, then to Gasol!

What does it mean to be a ‘crafty veteran’? You hear the term a lot and you wonder at what point can a player consider himself to be a crafty veteran. Hell it’s a fairly subjective thing to quantify so i’m not going to try here in this post. What I can say though with great certainty, is the Kobe Bryant pass last night to Pau Gasol off the backboard was a “crafty veteran pass” if i’ve ever seen one! The Wizards looked very confused on the play as it looked like Kobe was driving into traffic with nowhere to go. But hold on a second, did he just….no he didnt……he did!
